Aftercare

  • Wash/Dry/Moisturize
2-3 hours after your appointment: Wash your brows with room temperature water and mild, unscented soap. Make small circles over the brows with the suds and rinse with room temperature water. Pat dry and let the brows air dry for a few minutes. Take a small amount of the provided balm and apply a thin layer over the brows.

    7-10 days post appointment:
Repeat the wash/dry/moisturize morning and night with your normal skincare routine for 7-10 days or until brows are healed.

You want to avoid getting your brows wet otherwise. Wash the rest of your face with room temperature or cooler water. Shower shields will be provided to avoid excessively hot water and shampoo off of your brows.

Your brows will go through a few phases as they heal.
At first they will appear darker than they will heal since the pigment is on the surface of the skin.

As your brows heal, you will notice light dandruff like flaking. Avoid picking, use the balm to pat any loose flakes down and let them fall off naturally.
The tattoo will appear light. Do not worry! There is collagen helping heal your tattoo and it creates a haze over the pigment.

Most people will see their true healed results 10-14 days post appointment but everybody heals at their own pace! If your brows feel too light or have any patches missing we can always edit color and add additional strokes/shading at your touch up.

    Things to avoid:
    • Picking at any flaking you may experience.
    • Excessively hot water or steam on the brows.
    • Excessive sweating. Avoid exercise for 5-7 days post appointment.
    • Direct sunlight (wear a hat!) It is highly recommended to apply SPF to your brows for long-term care.
    • Do not apply any other skincare or makeup to the brows while they are still healing. After you are done healing you can resume your normal skincare routine. However, avoid putting any sort of anti-aging/chemical exfoliants on the brows indefinitely.

  • 3-4 hours after your appointment:
Wipe your lips with the provided antiseptic wipe and apply a thick coat of the aftercare balm.

Continue wiping and moisturizing your lips every 3-4 hours until you are out of the antiseptic wipes. Moisturize with the aftercare balm frequently.

For the 3-4 days after your appointment, avoid citrus, spicy and minty food. Drink with a straw and eat with a fork to avoid food and drinks coming into contact with your lips as you are healing.

Continue moisturizing frequently until your touch up appointment.
